The federal government has made great strides in research and treatment advances for many of our major health threats — breast cancer, lung cancer, AIDS, and stroke. They have not, however, addressed a threat that kills more Americans every year than any of those diseases — Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Coalition arms Members of Congress, their staff, and the dedicated public servants of the Federal Agencies with the information and research they need to launch significant initiatives that lead to greater public awareness, research, and access to life-saving therapies.
